Spanish Academy LMBD believes that children learn best when they are interested in what they’re learning. This is the reasoning behind why we have created a full immersion curriculum based on thematic units. These thematic units will focus on different topics that will keep children engaged and motivated throughout their lessons. Thematic units will also enable your children to communicate in Spanish through various situations and/or environments such as in airports, restaurants, etc.
We have created a comprehensive curriculum that allows students to learn Spanish and feel confident while learning. Our curriculum consists of three different categories: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. Each category is broken down into Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3. Each level will give our students the opportunity to learn and master new skills that align with the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the World Readiness Standards for learning languages.
In each class, students will experience a full immersion program through a variety of activities that always keep them engaged. Such activities include music, sensory motor activities, active participation with peers, reading, drawing, writing and more.
Struggling in school is hard on kids. Being worried about not passing a test, or having the confidence to participate in class, or being able to make certain connections in the brain while learning can impact kids significantly. At Little Minds, Big Dreams, we’re committed to helping kids gain confidence, support and the skills that they need to prepare for their future.
We also have a large community of multicultural families, and we love helping their children as they connect to their family heritage.
